Fantastic Forsythia

This is an early morning view from our upstairs bathroom. After the Snow-nami!!!

In looking around the property it is easy to see that we are addicted to Forsythia! From this particular window there are 5 huge plantings. They bring us such joy in the early spring. Everywhere we look there is a burst of golden light!

This year has been such a blessing. The cooler weather has kept the glow alive for so very long. Many years we get a blast of heat and the is the end of the Forsythia.

So despite the necessity for heavy coats and leggings some days, you will hear no complaint from me. A long cool protracted advance of Spring is my favourite way for things to unfold at this time of year. How about you?
